"Our goal this year is not to lose two games in a row." - LeBron in SI sportsman of the year article.
It's Miami. The only worry is Battier out but the Knicks might not have Melo or have him less than 100%. Revenge game factor also in play.
Also this is how they make lines for Miami. The Heat disappoint when playing bad teams like the depleted Spurs then Vegas makes them a -9 favorite to a very hot Brooklyn team. Now Miami loses straight up to the Wiz but that was the Super Bowl of the Wizards so they were pumped and Miami has motivation issues. So now we have one of the best bets of the season as 7 point dogs of course taking the Knicks would be the obvious choice. But remember how Miami beat an equally hot team in Brooklyn convincingly at home. I hate betting on Miami since they are too comfortable with themselves that they feel that they can turn it on anytime they want. However this is how Miami lines work and maybe a nationally televised game with one of the best teams in the league might motivate them and hopefully they've learned their lesson from the Spurs and Wizards.
